We work with each bride and groom individually to make their wedding cake and sweet treats personalized and special. All of our weddings cakes are made to order for celebrations in Richmond, Indiana and the surrounding areas. Our wedding cakes are tailored for the bride and groom and can include beautiful personalized details like sugar flowers to match the bride’s bouquet or ribbons and lace-work to match the bride’s wedding dress. With over 100 gourmet cake flavors to choose from, you will have flavors to satisfy everyone! And don't forget the groom! We can create a Groom's cake especially for that special guy! We also offer alternatives to the traditional wedding cake with cupcakes, table cakes, cakepops, minicakes and a wide array of treats! And don't foget your wedding favors! Sweet Bites offers a wide variety of edible wedding favors from cakepops, chocolate covered Oreo's, dipped Rice Krispie treats, chocolate dipped pretzels, decorated sugar cookies and much more! All personalized with your special details of your celebration!
Wedding cake prices start at $2.25/person for buttercream cakes and $3.25/person for rolled fondant. The minimum wedding cake order we accept is a 2-tier cake with 45 servings. If you are ordering cupcakes and/or cakepops from us, we can provide a single tier cake for the bride and groom to cut. Cupcakes and cakepops start at $24 per dozen. Edible wedding favors start at just $1.00 each.
Sweet Bites Cake Shop offers bridal taste testing for your big day. There is so much more than just chocolate and vanilla...we offer over 100 cake flavors! You choose six cake, filling and icing flavors. One dozen cupcakes, two of each flavor, will be made for pickup. Take home a dozen cupcakes to taste and enjoy in the comfort of your own home, share with friends or family (or not lol). The cost is $30 and may be ordered at any time without having a bridal consult or contract with Sweet Bites Cake Shop. Please allow one week when ordering. Should Bride & Groom choose to book a wedding cake over $250 with Sweet Bites Cake Shop, the cost of $30 will be deducted from the final wedding cake order total.
We have worked hard to build and maintain a reputation of exquisite flavor and taste in our cakes. To protect our reputation, we can not provide a wedding cake if you will be having another vendor or individual provide additional baked goods such as sheet cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cakepops or a groom's cake. We will be happy to work within your budget to provide enough desserts for your guests.

Wedding Cakes
The wedding cake is the traditional celebratory dessert served to the guests at a reception following the ceremony. In our modern Western culture, it is usually a tiered cake that is iced and decorated per the desires of the bride. Achieving a strong cake that can support the decorations while remaining edible can be considered the epitome of skill of the cake artist!
Today wedding cakes are as varied as the people getting married. But in all cases, the final design of the cake, to some degree, is a reflection of the tastes of the bride. Simple, yet elegant to the very ornate, wild and over-the-top with lots of “bling” and themed cakes are all accepted. With the modern use of fondant and gum paste, a cake can be almost anything you want!
Groom's Cakes
Many brides find the groom's cake appealing because it's a way to give the groom special recognition on a day when most of the attention seems to center on the bride.
Today, groom's cakes are usually made of red velvert cake or dark chocolate and often contain fruit and liqueur. Cake designs vary widely from the Groom's interests, sports teams, hobbies, or profession.
Traditionally, individual slices are boxed up before the wedding and given to the unmarried women at the reception. Legend has it that if an unmarried woman sleeps with a slice of the groom's cake under her pillow, she will dream of her future husband.

Cupcakes are a great alternative for couples looking beyond the traditional wedding, Sweet Bites offers the modern day alternative to a traditional wedding cake. Stack your wedding cupcakes on towering tiers or treat each guest to a sweet token of your wedded bliss. Most couples will get a small two tier cake to have for the traditional cake cutting and wedding pictures.
Cakepops
First came cakes, then came cupcakes, then came cakepops. They are simply delicious and the perfect alternative to a huge slice of wedding cake. Made of the same ingredients as a bonafide wedding cake (cake, frosting and icing), cakepops are hot right now for weddings because they allow couples and their guests to sample a whole slew of flavors in bite-size quantities.
