Sweet Bites Cake Shop's products are made in a cottage food operation that hasn't been inspected by the health department. With that being said, we strive to excede all health department guidelines and hold a ServSafe® Food Handler certification. Within our home is a dedicated workroom for all of our cakes and orders. We have worked vigorously with both state and local health inspectors to ensure we excede the requirements for commercial kitchens. While not "permitted" by the health department, they have done a walk-through of our operation and many inspections of our products, packaging and labeling.
